RecellGhana Computerlabs Partners with Precious Jesus School to Go Digital
RecellGhana Computerlabs(RGC) has partnered Precious Jesus School at Weija in the Weija Gbawe Municipality to transition to digital education. The transition will prepare teachers and the students for the digital world.
The school’s transition started when RGC installed 21 workstations with internet in the school’s computer lab. The computing facilitator will have access to a dedicated workstation while the learners will have access to 20 workstations. Each student can have access to one workstation during the lesson.
For the transition to be sustainable, RecellGhana Computerlabs will provide internet, maintenance, replacement, repair, and teacher training for the school. RGC provides four stages of training for partner schools; base training, bronze training, silver training and gold training.
BASE TRAINING FOR PRECIOUS JESUS SCHOOL.
RecellGhana Computerlabs mission isn’t only about providing digital education to partner schools’ learners and empowering educators on how to use RGC’s computer labs to enhance teaching and learning.
RecellGhana Computerlabs conducted a base training for the teachers of Precious Jesus School. During the training, the teachers were taken through the basic setup of the labs. Also, the teachers were taken through the rules and regulations of the RGC’s computer lab.
The trainer took the teacher through some practical lessons using some of the applications on the workstations. After the training, some teachers testified that the training has been an eye-opener and cannot wait to partake in the next stages of RGC’s training.
